IHE Journal of Science and Annual Science Fair is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and innovation within the scientific community. The Journal provides a platform for publishing peer-reviewed research across various scientific disciplines, showcasing the intellectual contributions of students and faculty. The Science Fair, held annually, offers students the opportunity to present their research projects, engage with industry professionals, and compete for recognition.

IHE is pronounced Eehay. It is derived from the Igbo language of Nigeria, and IHE means Light. IHE signifies the absence of darkness. It signifies enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom, intelligence and spiritual purity.

We chose IHE to symbolize the role of science in dispelling myths, superstition and irrationality.
